Hello
Hi - I'm Jack - 19 from Norfolk. I have been flying for 8 years and I am currently training to become and commercial pilot. At this stage, I am hour building to gain hours towards my commercial License. By all means, flying is expensive. To offset this, I am offering for you to join my journey to the flight deck and come along on trips with me through cost sharing.
Please note this is entirely Non-commercial operations and just for leisure. Please see the below information about cost sharing.
I look forwards to flying with you soon!
Cheers
Jack Jenner-Hall
How does Cost sharing work?
Cost-sharing flights are private leisure flights where the pilot and passengers simply split the direct costs of the trip, such as aircraft hire, fuel and landing fees. The pilot is not paid and cannot make a profit — everyone, including the pilot, pays an equal share. These are not commercial flights, so schedules, routes, and timings depend on the pilot and weather conditions. Think of it as joining a pilot on a recreational flight rather than buying an air-taxi service. It’s a great way to experience general aviation at an affordable price while helping cover the running costs of a private flight.
Compliance Statement -
All flights offered on this platform are private, non-commercial cost-sharing flights operated under UK CAA regulations (UK Regulation (EU) No 965/2012, Part NCO). The pilot does not receive payment or profit; only the direct costs of the specific flight are shared equally between all occupants, including the pilot. These flights are recreational in nature and must not be considered air transport or an air taxi service. Availability, routing, and timing are subject to the pilot’s discretion, aircraft performance, and weather conditions. By booking, passengers acknowledge that the flight is a private arrangement made in accordance with CAA cost-sharing rules.
